Compare the market produced a large number of motor policies. I was able to select the one that was most suitable to my needs. This then directed me to the insurance provider, where I set up the direct debit and paid the initial deposit. I had selected a premium policy with Aviva and found that it still gave me a saving of £6 a month on my current policy.

Cheaper and better than Lloyds

Much easier cheaper and less hassle than Lloyds bank who are pretty useless maybe the future is more AI systems than stroppy sales staff who are stealing g jobs from people who.might actually like working in customer service

very simple process

very simple process took no more than 20 minutes to get all details sorted and set up my account.
gave me a good price and everything was explained when going through the final bits of the insurance policy.

£100 above the cheapest and does not…

£100 above the cheapest and does not include any claim bonus protection and recovery. but solid customer service and a proven trustable company. have many many years with them on and off is just one competitor that comes close but I cannot mention it for obvious reasons. so in between two companies . two years with the other one and 2-3 years with Aviva, then the price goes up and I go to the competition and so on. That £100 bothers me but not Aviva. I thought that you would meet a customer in the middle.

Quite early for a review by the option…

Quite early for a review by the option was there once I completed my car insurance purchase. One of the cheapest and the process was easy enough. Only 4 stars and when you purchase online its only an online service and the message given was clear that I can't contact them by phone?! Hope there's flexability to this as I still prefer speaking to humans for my renewal queries etc.

It was very simple and easy to navigate. And the price quoted was a good deal cheaper than my previous insurers !

It was very simple and easy to navigate, as I worked my way through the pages. Each step was clear and concise, and I was waiting for ‘that sudden jump’ in the price as I put my add-ons: but it wasn’t that way! Aviva was the cheapest by far - and I’m so glad I ventured out of my comfort zone to ‘comparison sites’ and found Aviva!! Thank you for being honest and up front with your quotes and add-ons👌🏽

Competitive, quick and easy

My renewal of house insurance came through from my previous insurer at a 37% increase on last year, with no justification. I used a comparison site and insured for the next 12 months with Aviva. They were the third cheapest but I new the name and the process was so simple, quick and easy.

One of the lowest car insurance quotes

One of the lowest car insurance quotes. They verified my previous no claims bonus years themselves, so no messing about trying to send that info from my previous insurer. NO sudden increase in the quote as I worked my way through the pages online (Take note AA insurance!)

Initally, the adress that came up was not exactly the same as the go compare and my actual address.it was one critical line short. there are two houses in our urban areawith the same number and street name. I corrected the error.

This was my first experience to pay for my car insurance online. I'm absolutely poor at using IT devices but managed it after a lot of struggling. After all It was great, I mean some information online. But because of my nervousness, I cannot give the 5 stars.

Sorted via Compare the Market. All details read through without issue. Further options and upgrades easy to sort out. Very good price on the RAC package.
They sorted the NCD proof direct so no hassle finding emails etc.

Aviva have sent me a renewal notice for…

Aviva have sent me a renewal notice for house insurance that has increased my premium from £187.98 to £269.10, and reduced cover by increasing excesses. Nothing has changed and no claims have been made. Personally I regard this as a SCAM. Beware of Aviva!

Pretty straightforward process

To be fair, Moneysupermarket.com did the heavy lifting, but Aviva have offered the best deal by far! Just a little confusion at the start of actually accepting the offer, as there were options on the screen which I believed were already included in the policy. These were individually priced, asking me "yes" or "no", and as I didn't want to pay any extra than the quoted premium, I responded "no". After further thought, I returned to the start again, in order to confirm these WERE already included. Apart from that glitch, the whole process was smooth and streamlined, not taking that long at all.

Absolutely appalling claim process with…

Absolutely appalling claim process with Aviva Zero. So far I have provided all the accident details three times. First when notifying, then again via email, then again via a different portal. I have received calls I cannot return, text messages and emails from different people. Been able to book my repair whilst the repair company have not yet valued the repair. When given a number to call they cannot access my details. All the while the other party insurance company has contacted me offering a courtesy car and to accept the claim. Truly the worst customer experience possible.

Aviva refuse to pay money due to 92 year old widow due to their ‘protocols’

Aviva are refusing to pay out money due to be paid to my 92 year old Aunt as her husband who died 13 MONTHS AGO was the account holder. Despite sending Aviva the only ID she possesses (a disabled parking Blue Badge permit) they have a ‘protocol’ that does not recognise the document. Aunt doesn’t have a passport, she doesn’t drive, she has no recent utility bills as she lives in a care home. This company writes the same letter to us every month demanding documents THAT DO NOT EXIST for her. We reply giving them the same information, my Uncle’s death certificate, a copy of her Blue Badge permit, information about POA and that she does not possess the required documentation. Still they will not pay her and I believe it is a deliberate ploy to avoid having to pay out money. Disgraceful.
